Working in the sustainability industry has been a rocky and sometimes uncertain road over the past five years with no less than five Prime Ministers rolled in part due to their positions on Climate Change. Balance Carbon were thus delighted to see the passion for improving environmental outcomes on display through the future environmental professionals at the University of Queensland Industry night.
Hosted by the School of Geography, Planning and Environmental Management, the night discussed options for a future environmental careers and discussed current industry professional’s pathways to this industry. As an emerging industry, there is a wide variety of backgrounds in the students pursuing careers in sustainability, reflecting the current professional base.
