ACTS “Towards Carbon Neutrality” Workshop 14 – 15 August in Melbourne

Australasian Campuses Towards Sustainability (ACTS) has announced the roster of guest speakers presenting at the interactive “Towards Carbon Neutrality” workshop to be held in Melbourne from 14 – 15 August.

Balance Carbon’s Matthew Shorten will join University of Tasmania’s Carmen Primo Perez and Senior Analyst for Wellington City Council Tom Pettit in a discussion of the steps involved in developing a greenhouse gas inventory.

ACTS explains that at the workshop “You will hear from a range of industry professionals working in the Tertiary Education, Council and Healthcare sector in Australia and New Zealand, including those working within certified carbon neutral organisations, specialist service providers and relevant government experts. The workshop will cover everything from developing a carbon emissions inventory, identifying solutions to reduce your organisation’s carbon footprint, building the business case for certified carbon neutrality, selecting suitable finance options and tips on marketing your success.”
