Victorian Council Cluster Select Trellis

A cluster of Victorian regional councils including Benalla, Strathbogie, Murrindindi and Towong with support from the Goulburn Broken Greenhouse Alliance has adopted Trellis Technologies for utilities and emissions management, following an independent review undertaken by environment and strategic consulting firm, NDevr Environmental.

The process included conducting reviews of the available software tools via desktop research, communications with providers and external stakeholder feedback. A filtering process based on weighted criteria was then applied and the shortlisted group (see below) was then invited to present and provide a quotation.

The councils are utilising Trellis to monitor utilities performance, validate meter and supplier connections, dis-connections and performance, align with Australian accounting standards and ultimately make use of Trellis’s advanced PDF invoice extraction and interpretation technology.

Over the coming years Trellis will be supporting the Carbon Crunching Councils to deliver fast and accurate utility, emissions and resource reporting with some deeper dives into big data and analytics to expose insights and performance characteristics whilst ultimately speeding up the sustainability journey for the group, their community & stakeholders.
